Well summer has come to a close and we kick off this striper season with a trip to Montauk, located at the tip of Long Island, NY with my favorite (and only) cousins, Mr. Dino & Mr. Mikey. This trip prooved to be striperful, we landed 10 of them all 12+lbs. with a few 20+. Wish LKN was as automatic as Montauk. The tactic was using live porgies, which we caught 1st. In between the stripers we caught dozens of bluefish, aka devil fish, b/c they usually tore up your rig and ate half your bait.
