We give Thanks!

Capt Dad, Brotha Bri and the capt all give thanks to the striper gods for allowing us all to hear our drags scream and see our rods bend. While 2 of them were landed, we give Brotha Bri a pass for just being Bri.

Capt Tebo

Capt Tebo wrestles one into the boat. Good thing or he would have been deemed the hex... Couple small spotted bass as well to keep the early morning skunk at bay.

Record breaking day

Trip started off with a bang and never stopped. In total we landed 8 stripers breaking '30 Something' previous mark of 6. In the malay we also recorded a triple header. Mate dad did catch 2 of the 8, apparently he was too busy taking pictures of capt. to catch any more fish. We decided to take one for supper.

No bait

Made trip to the north end recently only to yield a few largies (nice size tho). Last week's warm front and rain seemed to slow things down. This am the bait shop had only dead shiners, we still had a half dozen left over so we were hoping all 6 would be real lucky. Turned out only one was lucky...

The great wide open

Since the water temp dropped below 70, we figured venturing away from the hole today might prove successful. This certainly wasn't the 1st time the capt. has been wrong. Ended the trip with a few circles in the hole. Lots of activity on top, ended up with 4 spotted bass and 1 striper.
