Well Mr. Bob was sick of seeing and hearing about the nice size stripers. It was time for him to book an AM trip b/c his PM trips yeilded nothing but a buzz. The honey hole did not disapoint as per that smile on Mr. Bob's face.
The rain didn't prevent Shane from waking up to fish this day. For the 1st 45 minutes I know Shane was wondering when I was going to shut up and when he would catch something that I'd be bs'ing about. Sure enough we caught the 1st one where the captain said we wouldn't!
And Mr. Pedro definately knows how to fish. He landed both the stripers caught today and one in the clutch right next to Mr. Gus's charter. Don't think Gus appreciated that too much considering his charters cost $200 a pop! Todd and I pulled in a couple of largemouth as well, not very worthy of a pic.

Well a couple of trips and a lot of trolling finally drew a smile for AJ, that fish gave him a fight and is much larger than it appears, it just that AJ is HUGE! Capt and another bigmouth, they just don't run like the stripers but they do lauch out of the water like a tarpon! well not really.
The captains bar is OPEN! Senor Rodriguaess serves them up cold!
Well the wind was 165 mph this day so the capt. putted around the dock, tying knots and what knots and behold there are them thar stripers right here 2 ft from the dock. A nice ledge 20 - 60 ft. the ones this size really don't like to give in. Fighting the wind or the more costly dock made this catch a tale. Caught the bigmouth a little later on.
Sorry folks, the ship she still sails! Its been nasty but we picked a few spots. Mr. John, HEHATEME Hately is now a Mr. & Mrs. CONGRATS! So now I don't feel guilty for posting this fiesty young largemouth. But he did call it, one cast, topwater no less, proceded to catch one more about the size that simply didnt warrant the free server space.

Many storms have slowed biz a little bit. Had an evening trip booked by my lovely wife and her even lovelier mom. The quick trip turned into a long one cause the capt. wasn't aware of a broken gas guage. We hadn't even come to a stop before Mr. Danny in the 17' Montauk took our line and hauled us in to the gas dock. I think I will be hearing about this one for quite some time. Mr. Todd's dad was in town in search of some stripers. He hooked up early with a striper while trolling the lure Todd suggested he buy. On the way back he also landed this nice largemouth. Unfortunately Mr. Todd lost some ground in the point standings by catching a small catfish, NASTY! His dad evened up the score on one trip. Ok that's enff diggin on Todd. He is due for something BIG!
This week doesn't look good, major fronts heading our way. The last one blew CLOSENFF's cover off and it must have sunk. Any divers out there willing to help out the poor capt.??
